Incredibly thick, soft and fluffy cookies made from sweetened condensed milk and stuffed with chocolate chips!
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups (250 g) plain / all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
- 2 teaspoons of corn flour / cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup (100g) light brown sugar
- 2/3 cup (9oz / 253g) sweetened condensed milk
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
- 1 cup (175g) chocolate chips
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat the oven to 180 ° C / 350 ° F / gas 4 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat. Put aside.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, corn flour and salt. Put aside.
- Whisk together the butter and sugar until well blended. Add the condensed milk and vanilla and mix until homogeneous.
- Add the dry ingredients and mix until they are just combined. Add the chocolate chips.
- Roll the dough into 1.5 oz balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
- Leave to cool on the baking sheet for 5 to 10 minutes before transferring them to a rack to cool them completely.
