Baked Honey Mustard Chicken




Roasted Honey Chicken Honey - The traditional combination of honey and mustard smelled through tender chicken breasts and baked to a juicy perfection.   • 4 (4 ounces each) Boneless Tile

  • 1 teaspoon (or to taste) chicken spice mix <- click here for recipe

  • 1-1 / 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided

  • 1/4 cup honey

  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard

  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard

  • 1 tablespoon integral mustard

  • 1/2 teaspoon white vinegar

  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

  • 4 sprigs of fresh rosemary, optional but recommended


instructions



  1. Preheat the oven to 375 ° F.

  2. Lightly grease a 9x13 baking pan with cooking spray and set aside.

  3. In a pan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil.

  4. Season the chicken breast with a mixture of chicken seasoning and add the chicken breast to the pan; cook for 2 minutes on each side or until browned.

  5. Meanwhile, prepare the mustard sauce with honey.

  6. Mix 1/2 tablespoon olive oil, honey, mustard, white vinegar and pepper in a small mixing bowl; whisk until well combined.

  7. Transfer the chicken breast from the pan to the pre-prepared baking pan.

  8. Pour the prepared mustard sauce over the chicken breasts, flipping the chicken over to cover each chicken breast completely.

  9. Place a sprig of rosemary between the chicken breasts.

  10. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.

  11. Remove the lid and continue baking for another 15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked. Cooking time will vary depending on the size / thickness of the chicken.

  12. Remove from the oven and let stand for 5 minutes.

  13. Serve.
